This 4 week Trail Club will meet twice a week on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings and help build endurance & technique on the beautiful trails of Burnaby Mountain and beyond!

This group is perfect for the novice runner - you should be able to comfortably run 8-10 kms on trails (with some elevation) at the start, as well as have a general understanding of the risks involved with running through the wilderness. If you’re new to the trails- no problem! We will be here for you every step of the way.

Led by seasoned trail runners, our clinic intends to provide you with the skills and confidence to tackle any trail, while building a supportive and encouraging running community. Because it’s not just about the run - it’s about the camaraderie, the sense of accomplishment, and the sheer joy of exploring nature's playground!

So lace up your trail shoes, pack your sense of adventure, and join us for an experience that will enhance your fitness, speed, and strength - right in your own backyard!

Our 4-week trail club offers: 

  • 8 total runs:

    • Tuesday Evenings @ 6:30pm (May 27th, June 3rd, 10th, 17th) : Meeting at Burnaby Mountain for a 5-8km trail workout. Here we will build endurance, seek elevation and get our workout done before the sun goes down!

    • Saturday Mornings @ 8:30am (May 31st, June 7th, 14th, 21st): Saturday runs will be hosted at various locations around the lower mainland including Buntzen Lake & the North Shore. Here we will explore the amazing trails our community has to offer and be out for 10-15km trail runs.

  • Pace Groups - although this is not a ‘beginners’ trail clinic, we will provide options to match your abilities and goals (all participants should be comfortable running 10 kms with some significant elevation before starting the clinic)

  • Progressional training - we organize the routes and incremental training plan so you can gradually improve your fitness, endurance, and speed.
