We recognize that running long distance isn’t a goal or aspiration for everyone. Our 5K is OK clinic recognizes the importance of simply getting out and moving, one step forward, one step at a time at a pace that is comfortable and manageable. If you are looking for a safe space to get out and get active with others, then the 5K is OK clinic is perfect for you. If you’re looking for something a clinic that is faster or more challenging, please consider our traditional 10k & half-marathon clinics which kick off the same weekend!
5k is OK is an all-inclusive clinic built for walkers and runners who are looking to build fitness in a safe and welcoming environment. Whether you’re returning from injury, a long hiatus, or never run before- this clinic is for YOU!
Participants will receive 11 weeks of supported training from a group of experienced leaders. Each week our sessions will include an educational warm-up followed by a gradual run, run-walk, or walk- depending on your fitness level and goals. There is not a walker or runner too slow for this group- you’ve got this!
